FAQ's:
What is a BCIN?
In the province of Ontario, in order to apply for building permits, the drawings must be signed by some one with a Building Code Information Number. This means they have taken a qualification exam with the Ministry of Housing based on the Ontario Building Code. Building departments in Ontario won't accept drawings if they do not have this signature.

What else would I need?
Usually you will have to get a Heat Loss calculation done to show the building's energy efficiency, and this will show if your furnace is sufficient, or if you will need to add to your buildings heating and cooling system. We don't provide this service, but can point you to several people who can.

What software do you use?
We use AutoCAD strictly for all our work.

How much will it cost?
This is a little hard to judge. Usually we will come and meet with you to see the project before a final number can be reached. A fair estimate is around $500 for a garage, $600 - 1200 for an addition
and $1000 - 3000 for a custom home.
